Winter 2019 - TAS. 9 Mona - The End (Part B)

TAS. 9   Mona -  The End (Part B)
Taking a Picture Through the Hole In the Top of the Head

Ah, to see what is going on in some peoples head. Here is Carol trying to take a picture of what she sees. I did not even bother looking inside; there were just flashes of light moving around inside.
What's Inside? A Head Full of 'Stuff'

Strange Looking Car - Not MY Idea of Beauty

Some ‘artists’ are all bulked up, on steroids or full of themselves… like this Porsche car in red… too much brawn does not make it ‘artfully’ interesting.

A Person Is Part of the Art Exhibit

I saw this man just sitting there, meditating? I wanted to see his face, but the guard stopped me…..

This man was part of the exhibition and just sat there…..
Beautiful But Incomprehensible Art

And here is what this man looked at while he just sat there….
All Day Long His View Does Not Change

Ambiguous

These are the items I liked, items that intrigued me; those are the things I want the artist to explain to me…
Ramblings or Meaningful?

Glass Hand (?) Suspended Above the Floor

A Sea of Bones

I find those ‘bone pictures’ a bit morbid, not sure if this is art either.

You Can Make Art Out of Anything

Strange Picture

I liked her face, but the rest?   I don’t get it!

Storyville? A Record?

Ah, we have had it after all of this.  My head was swirling like in this picture.

Awww Shucks - Thanks Hans

Carol’s face was all red from walking so much, she needed to rest, but notice, she still smiles her nice smile.

A Beautifully Painted Sarcophagus

Normally in a museum, you see items like this
Outdoor Metal Sculpture

But there is not much like this at Mona. It’s quirky, art in and around the building is everywhere you look.

Lining Up For the Ferry

We took the ferry back, see the long line?

"All Aboard"

And the funky ferry?

A Beautiful Park

We came back to St. David’s Park

 Nice!

We are leaving Tasmania tomorrow, we are going to Perth, Australia.
